Hurricane Ida Relief Fund

Community Announcement

As many of you know, the Riverside and 11th Street Bridge neighborhoods are still experiencing the fallout and challenges left in Hurricane Ida’s wake. Many of our neighbors remain displaced due to the damage their homes sustained. Others have been able to return to their home but are facing extreme financial hardships to repair damage from the flood.

In response, The WRK Group (The Warehouse, REACH Riverside, and Kingswood Community Center) has worked with the larger Wilmington community to raise funds that will be distributed directly to community members impacted by Hurricane Ida.

Next Steps!

If you have personally experienced flood damage to your home or business in either the Riverside or 11th Street Bridge neighborhoods, then you could be eligible to receive Hurricane Ida Flood Relief funds. Funds are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. Funds are limited to one distribution per household. Once received, there are no limitations on how your funds can be spent.

  1. To begin the process to receive funds, you must first fill out this Google form.
  2. Within seven to ten business days, a WRK Group team member will reach out via phone and/or email alerting individuals to their eligibility and how to receive funds.

The WRK Group appreciates your patience as we work to ensure that funds are distributed equitably and fairly to community members.
