The Warehouse Cuts Ribbon on New RISE Innovation Center

The new space will host additional programming for teens enrolled in RISE, The Warehouse's flagship workforce development program

The Warehouse and WRK Group staff were joined by Governor John Carney, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester, Rep. Sherry Dorsey-Walker, Councilwoman Zanthia Oliver and funders including Michaell Kullman, April Birmingham from M&T Bank and Jac Rivers from JPMorgan Chase to cut the ribbon on the new RISE Innovation Center Tuesday.

This impressive new education and incubator space expands the physical footprint of RISE, a teen workforce development program, in The Warehouse. It currently is home to the Apparel Academy, a four-week program teaching teens how to start their own clothing brand, and gives them instruction in design and screen printing.
